Both Luteinizing hormone (LH) and Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) stimulate secretion of sex hormones from the gonads (egg and sperm production)

The gonads in males are the testes and the gonads in females are the ovaries.

It stimulates egg maturation and estrogen secretion (in female) and stimulates the formation of sperm (in male)
