The three components of nucleotide are:

  1. Sugar Base: Deoxyribose in case of DNA  and Ribose in case of RNA
  2. Phosphate group
  3. Nitrogen base: Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine, Thymine. In RNA, Thymine is replaced by Uracil.
