GIFT stands for Gamete Intra fallopian transfer which mixes egg and sperm in the fallopian tube.

It is a new variation on the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

Considered to have a higher success rate than IVF.

Unfertilized eggs and sperm are placed directly into the oviduct (fallopian tube) via catheter before conception.

Conception occurs inside the fallopian tube.
