The aerobic respiration is the process by which complete oxidation of respiratory substrate (glucose) takes place in presence of free oxygen producing the end product like CO2 and water. whereas Anaerobic respiration is the process by which incomplete oxidation of respiratory substrate(mainly glucose) takes place in absence of external oxygen and form CO2 and ethyl alcohol (in plant).
