Fungi reproduce vegetatively, asexually and sexually. Fission, fragmentation and budding are common methods of vegetative reproduction. Asexual reproduction takes place by formation of asexual spores such as Sporangiospores, Conidia and Chlamydopsores. Sexual reproduction also involves the formation of spores. There are three phases in sexual reproduction namely plasmogamy, karyogamy and meiosis.
