The netted venation is also known as the reticulate venation; here the veins are repeatedly branched to form a network or reticulum. This venation is the characteristic feature of the dicot leaves. Some of the examples are Hibiscus, Guava, Ficus, Apple, Grapes, and Cherry etc.

Whereas in parallel venation the veins are arranged parallel to each throughout the leaf.
