The flowers which are pollinated by wind are known as the anemophilous flower. These flowers are usually characterized by small size, inconspicuous and also nectar or fragrance etc. It produces large number of pollen grains which are smooth, light and dry. Examples of anemophilous flowers are Acalypha, Morus, Oryza, Saccharum, Ricinus etc.
