Immunology is a branch of Biomedical science which deals with the study immunity and immune systems in vertebrates. Immunology is a broad field covers both the basics including Antibodies, Antigens, Cell mediated immune responses, Hypersensitivity reactions, Allergies and well as the Clinical Applications including Vaccines.

Immunology can also be described as the study of protecting ourselves from foreign bodies or organisms and our bodies response against them.

Here the HOST is Us ( i.e; Human Beings) and the Foreign bodies are Viruses, Bacteria, Parasites etc.
