RENAL PELVIS

  1. All the minor calices of the kidney converge and form the major calices.
  2. 3-4 major calices jointly open into funnel shaped region called renal pelvis.
  3. They together make up the renal sinus.
  4.  Renal pelvis then opens into the ureter.
