Neuron: Cytoplasmic extension of the nerve cell is called neuron.
A typical neuron has only one axon and many dendrons.
The branches of dendrons are called dendrites.
The function of dendrites is to carry impulse towards cyton and the function of axon is to carry impulse away from cyton.
