Diabetes mellitus is one of the diseases caused by increase or decrease in the glucose.

Type 1: It is also known as insulin independent diabetes mellitus [IIDM]. As the name suggest insulin is not required for the patients.

Type 2: It is also called as insulin dependent diabetes mellitus [IDDM].The patients require regular need of insulin; otherwise they can't be able to survive.

Basic difference is root cause in their upbringing means

- When human own immune system attack the goblet cell (insulin producing cell present in the pancreas), hence person suffered by type 2 diabetes

- 1 diabetes  happened due to excessive laziness and eating high calorie food
