Basically the substance present in the nucleus is known as Nuclein. As per the biochemical terms the high phosphorus contain protein present in nucleus is known as Nuclein e.g.: nucleohistone or nucleoprotamine.
It is also the term which is used by Friedrich Miescher for the nuclear material he discovered in 1869, today it is known as DNA.
