The main photosynthetic pigments are Chl a, Chl b, Xanthophyll, Carotenes, Phycobilins. Chlorophylls are green pigments, in the Chl a only the photochemical reactions takes place. Carotene is the orange pigment and Xanthophyll is the yellow pigment.
