  2. These act as antibodies , destroy harmful bacteria, viruses and toxins present in the blood.
  3. Lack of gamma globulins can cause:
  • Increased susceptibility to infections and diseases.
  • Lack of resistance to infections.
  • Frequently recurring (repeated) infections.
