Thymus gland secretes thymosins, an amino acid-based hormone which stimulates T-cell maturation.
Thymosins are secreted by thymus gland. These are the peptide hormones. These helps in the differentiation of T lymphocytes thus gives cell mediated immunity. This also produce antibodies thus gives humoral immunity.
