There are two types of vascular tissues that are xylem and the phloem. The transportation of the water and dissolved minerals occurs through the xylem tissues. It is considered as an important tissue which occupies a unique position in the plant body. It is found in central part of the stem, root, leaves, petiole and the stalk.
