Sporangiospores are non-motile spores produced inside sac-like structures called sporangia.
They are produced in large numbers and are dispersed by wind currents.
They are found in fungi like Rhizopus and Mucor.
Sporangiospores are uninucleated or multinucleated asexual spores which are produced endogenously inside the sporangium. A sporangium is a sac like structure which is bounded by the membranous wall. The content of the sporangium cleaves into one or more spores. The sporangiospores may be non-motile aplanospores or the motile zoospores.
