Oxides of sulphur, nitrogen, ammonia and chlorides react with atmospheric moisture and produce acids.
These acids come down with rain water on earth surface. This is known as Acid rains.
The acid rain changes the quality of water, pH of the soil and affects the life of plants and organisms.
