As per the board test book hsc it says that fragmentation is a type of reproduction while the second board book says that it's a accidental breaking so to be classified as regeneration

Fragmentation is a kind of asexual reproduction,,,its dffrnt frm regeneration,,as regenration involves formation of lost parts whereas fragmentation is formation of a offspring from small small fragments of the parent cell
