Thiamine intake should be proportional to calorie (carbohydrate intake) 0.5 mg/1000 calories.
Adults – 1 - 1.5mg/per day.
Children – 0.7-1.2 mg/ per day.
Pregnant and lactating women – 2 mg/per day.
