Mycoplasmas are the wall less bacteria. They are usually the disease causing agents of plants, animals etc. They are pleomorphic organism and they pass through bacteria proof filters. They can grow in the culture medium and forms dense central portion. They are sensitive to penicillin and are killed by tetracycline.
