Photophosphorylation: formation of ATP (adenosine-triphosphate) molecules from ADP (adenosine-diphosphate) and IP (inorganic phosphate) in presence of sunlight is called photophosphorylation.
It occurs in leaves of green plants. These leaves contain green pigments called chlorophylls in that chlorophyll there is a stack of coin like structure called grana.
In grana there are quantasomes which function as photosystem in which photophosphorylation occurs.![enlightened enlightened](http://www.biology.lifeeasy.org/qa-plugin/wysiwyg-editor/plugins/smiley/images/lightbulb.gif)
